CCS: Equinor provided incorrect data on CO2 storage

The Norwegian energy company Equinor has corrected its claim that it stores one million tons of CO2 annually in its Sleipner project. Official data shows a significantly lower number.

CBAM: Kommission prüft Bagatellgrenzen

CBAM: Commission examines de minimis limits

EU-Klimaziel 2040: Polen lehnt 90 Prozent CO₂-Reduktion ab

Die kommende polnische Ratspräsidentschaft wird dafür zuständig sein, das nächste EU-Klimaziel 2040 zu verhandeln. Das Land selbst sieht den Kommissionsvorschlag von 90 Prozent Treibhausgasreduktion allerdings kritisch. Derweil geht der Kohleausstieg Polens voran.
