Elections in the European Parliament are not due until 2024. But the European parties are already beginning to prepare for the occasion. In Brussels, it is considered certain that at least the Christian Democrats and Socialists will again nominate top candidates. The EPP candidates will be particularly interesting, as there could be two prominent female candidates.

Die Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament stehen erst 2024 an. Aber schon jetzt beginnen die europäischen Parteien damit, sich auf das Ereignis vorzubereiten. In Brüssel gilt als sicher, dass zumindest Christdemokraten und Sozialisten wieder Spitzenkandidaten aufstellen. Vor allem die EVP-Personalie wird interessant, denn es könnte zwei prominente Bewerberinnen geben.

Das bundesweit gültige 9-Euro-Ticket ist ausgelaufen. Es soll als 69-Euro-Ticket fortgeführt werden. Der Bund verhandelt die Finanzierung noch mit den Ländern. Das „Dienstwagen-Privileg“ soll nicht angetastet werden. Womöglich muss künftig aber ein Fahrtenbuch geführt werden.
