Sie liegen im Schnitt umso höher, je hochrangiger ein Beamter ist, auch im Verhältnis zum offiziellen Gehalt. Hohe Beamte erwirtschaften teils ein Vielfaches ihres Gehaltes auf diese Weise, also durch Korruption. Und mit dem Rang steigt der Anteil von Beamten mit „inoffiziellen“ Einnahmen.
