Wachsender Kohleverbrauch lässt Chinas CO₂-Emissionen steigen

Growing coal consumption drives up China's carbon emissions

China has deviated from its own emissions targets for the first time in years. According to a recent study, emissions in the People's Republic increased by 5.2 percent in 2023. Growing coal consumption is the main culprit.

Securities regulator denies report on stock sale ban

The Chinese Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) rejected a media report suggesting that China had banned major institutional investors from reducing equity holdings at the open and close of each trading day.
