EU sanctions against Israel: Why Germany is vetoing them

Federal Foreign Minister Johannes Wadephul declared that Germany would not agree to sanctions against Israel for the time being.

Israel is to be excluded from certain areas of Horizon Europe. The EU Commission proposed this sanction in July. What speaks against it from a German perspective.
