Der Handelsausschuss des EU-Parlaments (INTA) hat sich für einen Ausbau der Handelsbeziehungen mit Taiwan ausgesprochen. Die Abgeordneten forderten außerdem, „zügig mit der Arbeit an einem stabilen Lieferkettenabkommen mit Taiwan zu beginnen“.
