Diese geben China einen konkreten Zeithorizont, wann es sich ökonomisch zu einer militärischen Einverleibung des Nachbarlandes in der Lage sieht. Die Dual Circulation könnte bereits Bestandteil der Vorbereitungen sein. Ob es tatsächlich zur Invasion kommt, hängt aber auch davon ab, ob Peking den USA die Entschlossenheit zu einer militärischen Konfrontation zutraut.
