In Memoriam Saleemul Huq: responsibility instead of despair

Saleemul Huq passed away unexpectedly on the weekend. The Bangladeshi scientist and climate negotiator was a defining voice in international climate policy since the beginning of the COPs. He was a relentless but always friendly advocate for climate justice.

In Memoriam Saleemul Huq: Verantwortung statt Verzweiflung

Am Wochenende ist Saleemul Huq überraschend verstorben. Der Wissenschaftler und Klima-Verhandler aus Bangladesch war seit Beginn der COPs eine prägende Stimme der internationalen Klimapolitik. Er trat unnachgiebig, aber stets freundlich für Klimagerechtigkeit ein.
