With the approval of the European Parliament, the Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act passed the final hurdle in the legislative process yesterday. Damit endeten die Zeiten, in denen die großen Plattformen „too big to care“ sein könnten, verkündete Binnenmarktkommissar Breton. Doch dafür müssen die neuen Regeln wirksam durchgesetzt werden. Wie die Kommission ihre Aufgaben erledigen will, zeichnet sich am Tag nach dem Parlamentsbeschluss nun deutlicher ab.
