Spain has one-third of the import capacity for LNG in the EU. The government wants to help avert the threat of supply bottlenecks in Germany, but so far it lacks the pipelines to do so. New pipelines are supposed to change that.

Spanien verfügt über ein Drittel der Importkapazitäten für LNG in der EU. Die Regierung will helfen, die drohenden Versorgungsengpässe etwa in Deutschland abzuwenden, doch dafür fehlen bislang die Pipelines. Neue Leitungen sollen das ändern.
