Digital youth protection in Europe: Requirements, technology and circumvention tricks
Age verification is becoming mandatory for platforms in Europe. However, deepfakes and forged documents undermine existing procedures. Only multi-level controls and strict data protection standards can protect both minors and fundamental rights.
