World Weather Attribution: Fires in the Aegean worse due to climate change
This summer's forest fires in Greece, Cyprus and Turkey were fueled by extreme heat, drought and winds. Climate change has intensified these weather conditions in the region, a new study shows. Across Europe, forest fires are causing record emissions.
