Plant protection: What the faster approval of biological agents achieves – and what it doesn't

When it comes to plant protection, the European Commission is also focusing on faster market access for biological products. They are intended to offer alternatives to chemical pesticides. Experts believe that this approach provides opportunities, but it is not a panacea.
