Agriculture in a changing climate: we only have a future with agroecology
Climate-smart agriculture has been hailed as a climate solution since COP26 in Glasgow. But it is misleading. Chemical pesticides and fertilizers destroy local ecosystems and communities and contribute to climate change. If humanity wants to have a future on this planet, agroecology is essential.
