The historian is known for his clear words and is one of the most sought-after commentators. Before he began teaching military history in Potsdam in 2015, he was a professor at the University of Glasgow and at the London School of Economics. His work on the intercepted conversations of German prisoners of war during World War II and the 816-page work “German Warriors”, among other things, attracted a great deal of attention.
