Siegfried Mureșan

Mureșan's political career began in 2006 as a trainee in the Bundestag, and the Romanian EPP politician is now one of the most influential MEPs in the European Parliament. The economist is already leading the budget negotiations for the Multiannual Financial Framework for the second time as co-rapporteur for the Parliament. As Vice-chair, he is one of the few in the EPP group who occasionally publicly contradicts group leader Manfred Weber. The 44-year-old speaks perfect German and doesn't drink coffee.
