Julia Haes

Haes is managing director of the China Institute for German Business (CIDW), which primarily advises SMEs and family businesses on politics, geopolitics and risk management in business with China. In addition to research and training, the CIDW also offers advice and networking. Haes is involved in working groups such as the CNBW, where she supports projects on the future of SMEs' business in China. In 2015, she founded her first company "Finiens Business Service", which developed tailor-made training programs for Chinese groups in Germany. She holds a doctorate in economics from St. Gallen and studied business administration at LMU Munich and California State University San Bernardino. She was also responsible for strategic cooperation with Chinese universities at the Free University of Berlin.
