Jorge Toledo Albiñana

In his current position, Toledo Albiñana is committed to strengthening EU-China relations and promoting dialog in various areas, including climate and environment. Toledo Albiñana has been EU Ambassador to China since 2022. In addition to serving as Spanish ambassador to Japan, he has also gained experience as a Spanish diplomat in Senegal. He was also State Secretary for the European Union in Spain. Born in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, he studied law and then joined the diplomatic service in Spain.
