After a brief stint at the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Christian Mölling is now Senior Advisor at the European Policy Center in Brussels. At the same time, he is currently setting up his own think tank on arms, defense and overall defense in Berlin called European Defense in a New Age (EDINA). He was previously Deputy Director of the Research Institute of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) and Head of the Center for Security and Defense. With positions at the renowned German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and in the Security Policy Research Group of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), among others, the 53-year-old has a wealth of experience in foreign and security policy think tanks. His expertise has been in considerable demand in the German media landscape since at least February 2022.
