Bärbel Heidebroek

Bärbel Heidebroek is one of the most formidable advocates of wind power in Germany. The founder and managing partner of the Landwind Group in Gevensleben, Lower Saxony, was confirmed for her second term in office as President of the German Wind Energy Association (BWE) in May with 98.2% of delegate votes. The agricultural scientist had already held this position since 2023. The 56-year-old is also Chair of the Lower Saxony-Bremen Renewable Energy Association, of which she is also Vice President.
