Annette Lehnigk-Emden has been president of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) in Koblenz since April 2023. The 64-year-old began her career here in 1991 as a consultant and worked her way up to the top. The administrative lawyer is expected to make her office fit for the new era – and to significantly streamline procurement processes in order to speed them up. While there used to be little money and a lot of time, it is now the other way around. Lehnigk-Emden herself says in interviews: “We’ll get it!”
