Climate change: Children twice as often exposed to life-threatening extreme weather.

According to the NGO Save the Children, meeting the Paris climate targets must be a top priority for the future of today's children. If the 1.5 degree mark falls, almost 40 percent of those born in 2020 would be exposed to additional dangerous heatwaves.
