Die Christdemokraten fordern eine Regulierungspause, konnten sich damit aber beim Lieferkettengesetz nicht durchsetzen. Bei den nächsten Streitthemen hängt nun viel an den Liberalen. Die wollen sich aber nicht vereinnahmen lassen – und von Fall zu Fall entscheiden.

Die Umsetzung der neuen Regeln aber treibt die europäische Industrie auf die Barrikaden – sie befürchtet ausufernde Berichtspflichten. Nun bessert die Kommission wohl nach.
