Fossil subsidies: What happened to the phase-out plans at COP28 and COP26

At COP28, twelve countries pledged to drive forward the phase-out of fossil fuel subsidies. One year later, there are initial results and new members. However, despite the G7, G20 and COP26 agreements, the global trend is pointing in the wrong direction.
