After court ruling: dispute on glyphosate ban continues

The national ban on glyphosate has been lifted again in Luxembourg. One reason: the active ingredient is still approved in the EU until at least the end of the year. While the agricultural industry insists on a continuation, toxicologists and environmentalists call for a ban. The German government also wants to stick to its plans to ban the herbicide.

EU: ITER nuclear program is climate action even without CO2 reduction

On April 15, the last German nuclear power plants will be shut down. But German taxpayers' money continues to flow into nuclear technology. The billions in contributions to the ITER nuclear fusion reactor in southern France are recorded in the EU as climate financing, even though fusion technology does not promote EU climate targets.
