Nigeria: plenty of oil and gas – but still almost on Paris track

Nigeria is Africa's largest economy and second-largest CO2 emitter after South Africa. Its energy policy is contradictory: Oil and gas finance the country. At the same time, the government wants to fight poverty and achieve net zero by 2060. Now, subsidies have been cut.
