Study: Climate change prolongs heatwaves – especially in Europe and Asia

Due to climate change, there is an increasing occurrence of heatwaves that move more slowly, last longer and affect larger areas than they would without it. The most significant changes are observed in Europe and Asia, as a new study reveals.
