European works councils: Parliament adopts trialogue result

On Thursday, the European Parliament passed the trialogue result on the reform of European works councils with a large majority. There were still attempts to overturn the proposal right up to the end.

NGO funding: Commission criticizes 28 agreements

After the European Parliament criticized some funding of non-governmental organizations, the Commission has reviewed all agreements with NGOs for violations of the guidelines. Twenty-eight NGOs from the Life program were asked to agree to changes – but to no avail.
