Battery cell production: Commission considering subsidies for operating costs

The Commission is considering granting them subsidies to cover operating costs in battery cell production.

Sustainability omnibus: EP negotiator wants to scrap climate plans.

The rapporteur for the proposed easing of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) wants to exempt more companies from CSRD requirements than the European Commission does. However, Jörgen Warborn does not intend to scrap the EU supply chain law entirely.
