Industrial electricity price: Commission grants approval according to Merz

According to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the European Commission has given its broad approval to German plans to ease the burden on energy-intensive industries. This would make it possible to introduce a combination of an industrial power price and an electricity price compensation scheme.
