EU climate law: much skepticism among member states

The Danish Council Presidency is calling for the EU environment ministers to adopt the climate target for 2040 in mid-September. (Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU 2025)

The ambassadors of the EU member states have discussed the Commission's proposal for the 2040 climate target for the first time. The Danish Council Presidency also presented its timetable.
