Energy transition: No bids for German offshore wind for the first time

The most recent tender for offshore wind energy in Germany ended without any bids. Economy Minister Katherina Reiche believes financial hurdles are to blame. On Wednesday, Reiche presented a new law aimed at streamlining the approval process.
