CCS in Europe: Up to €140 billion in subsidies needed

According to new calculations, it may take up to €140 billion in subsidies in Europe for the planned projects to capture and store CO2. Experts criticize that the expensive technology is not a climate solution. There is also a lack of laws and standards.
