Germany's national climate finance: Significant shifts at an almost identical budget

Germany's national budget for 2026 will not see any significant cuts to climate action funding, but neither will there be any growth. More money will be allocated to industrial transformation, while funding for the building sector will be scaled back. The Germany-wide public transport ticket will remain available.
