Taiwan: Opposition party KMT in talks with CCP leaders

Iran warns US of wider regional conflict

In the event of a US attack, Iran’s supreme leader warned of a regional war. Meanwhile, in Tehran, Qatar’s foreign minister met with his Iranian counterpart and a close confidant of Ayatollah Khamenei. The brief visit fueled speculation that Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani may have delivered an important message to Iran – possibly on behalf of the United States.
