KHANTY-MANSI AUTONOMOUS AREA, RUSSIA -  21, 2020: A helicopter battles a wildfire in the taiga in Sovetsky District of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, north-west Siberia. On 14 July 2020, the local authorities declared a state of emergency in wooded areas of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. Since the start of the fire season , more than 240 wild fires covering an area of more than 29,000 hectares have been reported in the region.
