The organization refuses to be transparent about 15 of 17 major donations, although it was required to do so according to the rules of the lobby register in the Bundestag. Data from 2019 shows that passenger and cargo flights from the 20 most climate-damaging airports worldwide caused 231 million tons of carbon emissions. The dirtiest airports are located in Asia, North America and Europe.
