Nuclear alliance: Schneider counters Reiche.

Federal Environment Minister Carsten Schneider has voiced criticism of Economic Affairs Minister Katherina Reiche’s participation in the Nuclear Alliance meeting. In a new letter to the Commission, the alliance is calling for access to regular EU research funding.

Study: Governments not very innovative in promoting clean tech.

According to a cep study, governments in the EU are predominantly promoting conventional large-scale projects such as wind farms or grid expansion, and hardly any new areas such as battery production or electrolysers. Governments are also conservative when it comes to instruments.
