SPD car paper: Sticking to the 2035 ban on combustion engines

The German SPD group is prepared to defer or extend the penalties for failing to meet the climate targets for 2025. The ban on combustion engines for new cars is to remain in place, while the fleet limits up to 2035 could be adjusted. This is what the car paper from the SPD MEPs in the European Parliament envisages.
