Russian gas: Energy industry calls import ban a “trade barrier”

The BDEW views the REPowerEU Regulation and the Methane Regulation as obstacles to urgently needed gas imports. According to the DIHK, a coordinated European effort to fill gas storage facilities over the coming months is essential to prevent electricity prices from rising further.
