Industrial emissions: Commission to consider inclusion of cattle in 2026

By the end of 2026, the Commission will assess whether cattle farmers should also be subject to the Industrial Emissions Directive. The European Parliament has approved the political compromise on the directive. It concerns emissions from industrial and agricultural enterprises into the air, water, and soil.
