EU climate target 2040: geopolitical instability could jeopardize targets

Experts from the Brussels think tank Bruegel believe that an EU climate target of 90 percent CO2 reduction by 2040 is technologically feasible. However, they see risks from trade conflicts, rising interest rates and social resistance.
