Digitalization: Efficiency targets for data centers are taking effect late

Data centers will be a driver of electricity consumption. However, according to the EU Commission’s plans, minimum requirements for their energy efficiency will only be introduced in the medium term. The authority has two main applications in mind for the use of AI in the energy industry.
