CO₂ storage: Commission holds oil and gas companies accountable.

The EU has committed 44 oil and gas companies to develop geological CO₂ storage facilities by 2030. This is intended to drive forward emissions reduction and CO₂ removal. The NGO Clean Air Task Force calls this a "milestone."
