CBAM: Trade Committee confirms simplification proposal

The attempt by right-wing MEPs to further weaken the CO₂ border adjustment mechanism failed in the European Parliament's Trade Committee on Wednesday. Instead, the committee members confirmed the EU Commission's proposal.
