Steel industry: Action plan against dumping

The EU Commission is planning to present a steel action plan in the first half of 2025. Industry and politicians are calling for the Commission to take stronger and faster action against dumping steel from China and potential tariffs from the USA.

ACEA President Källenius calls for changes to the Green Deal

The new ACEA President Ola Källenius is calling on Commission President von der Leyen to ensure that manufacturers do not have to pay any penalties for failing to meet the 2025 climate targets. In addition, the CO2 fleet limits for cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy commercial vehicles should be corrected by 2035.
