Anti-deforestation: Why the Commission is under pressure

From 2025, the EU regulation requires companies to prove their products do not contribute to deforestation. However, some important foundations for the implementation are still missing – and the EPP Group is calling for a postponement of its application in its priorities for the coming legislative period.
