Thwaites Glacier: Why the tipping point could be approaching

New satellite data indicates that the Thwaites Glacier in West Antarctica is approaching a tipping point faster than previously thought. Warm ocean water is flowing under the glacier, causing it to lift, lower and bend. If it melts completely, sea levels would rise by 60 centimeters.
