Grid security: Suspicion of higher curtailment of Chinese wind and solar parks

China plans to build at least 200 gigawatts of new wind and solar power annually. However, there are signs that the country curtails wind and solar parks more frequently than the official data indicates. One reason is the low level of electricity trading between the provinces.
