Forest conservation fund: Why Germany’s billion has gone down well at COP30

German money for the TFFF forest fund will be in the form of an interest-free contribution, Environment Minister Schneider clarified in Belém. At the same time, the law for deforestation-free supply chains is being postponed at EU level.
